Deactivation with Facebook app:

You can deactivate your Facebook account by the Facebook app. This is easier. See it step by step:

• First, open the Facebook app. 
• Then log in to your account which you want to deactivate. If you are already logged in. Just okay.
• Now click on the three-line menu icon. As shown below.

• After that many options will visible to you. Like this, shown below.

• Now find settings and click there.

• After clicking settings, all things that you need to manage your account will be shown. From the settings you need to find the tab named “Your Facebook Information”. On this tab, you have to find the option “Account Ownership and Control”. You have to scroll down to find this.
• Tap on “Account ownership and Control”. 

• Then two options will open in front of you. One is “Deactivation and Deletion”, and the other is “managing your information”. As we want to deactivate the account, we need to click on "Account Deactivation and Deletion". 

• Now again you will find two options. Here one is “Deactivate account” and the other is “ Delete account”. We have to give a dot mark on “deactivate account” by clicking there. And then continue. 

• Then Facebook will redirect you to a new page. Facebook will then ask you to enter your password for security reasons. Just enter your password without any fear. And continue… 

• Now Facebook will show some steps that you can take. Just select “This is temporary. I’ll be back” and click continue.

• Now Facebook will show more steps on the next page. You have not to do anything on this page. But you can select the automatic reactivating period. As 1, 2, 3… 7 days. For a better experience, you can select “don’t reactivate automatically”. By selecting this your account won’t be reactivated automatically, it will reactivate only when you log in. Select any one and again continue.

• Then Facebook will redirect you to the last page of this journey. On this page just click “deactivate my account”. Wow, great we have successfully deactivated our account.

Reactivation of a Facebook account is easier than others. Just Log-in in to your account, using your email/phone and password. Facebook will automatically reactivate your account.

Other Facilities to deactivate Facebook Account:

1. The messages that you have sent to your friends, your friend can see these messages still after your account deactivation.
2. Also you will be shown on your friends- friend list.
